How Do I Enter The Events?

This FUN dog show is open to all dogs. To enter a class, simply turn up at the show arena (Jerry’s arena) which is in between the splash pool and the display arenas just before the time of the dog show you want to enter, they are fun and free, however a voluntary minimum donation of £2 per class would be appreciated.

All winners will receive pawsome prizes of rosettes and more. The winners of the first eight categories will win a glass award too. All first place holders will be entered into the Best in show category where the winner and runner up will win a glass trophy. Both winners will walk away with a multitude of prizes.

All dogs must be kept on lead at all time unless otherwise directed by staff.

Arena 2 (Gunner’s Arena)

 

Police Dog Display – 11.30 & 14.00

Performing in Gunner’s Arena. The pawsome Devon & Cornwall police dogs will be carrying out various displays. They will also be set up beside the arena on both days for you to meet them and find out more about the work they do.

Flyball – 12.40 & 15.15

Two bridges Flyball will be putting on a demonstration and offering the you the chance to have-a-go for a small donation to support the club.

Jan Quinn Agility – 10.45 & 14.45

Come see the agility demonstration and have-a-go for a small donation to support the club.

 

Charity mascot Championships – throughout the weekend

This year we have the charity mascot championships being held across the weekend. Including the inflatable bungee run, zorb ball wars, digging in sand and finally getting in that pool. Points will be added throughout the weekend to the score board to see who will be crowned top mascot of the festival with £200 up for grabs for the winning charity! With Pawsome Pensions, Animals Asia and Animals in Distress all competing to be the top dog or bear, who will win!

The winners of the Inspiration, Bravery and Service Dog awards will be presented on stage at 5.15pm on the Saturday evening.

Sunday is time to catch the bits you missed, educational talks, displays from the police dogs and you can even get involved with the have-a-go competitions.  There will also be live music throughout the day and dozens of stalls to see.

Who’s Coming?

Animal Behaviourist

Hannah Molloy BSc Hons

Hannah is an applied animal behaviourist, award winning speaker, author, campaigner and TV dog trainer specialising in dog body language and the human canine bond. She’s trained over 10,000 dogs in 10 years, featured on Channel 4’s Puppy School in 2019, released her new book ‘What’s My Dog Thinking’ in October and currently coaches trainers and other animal professionals in fear free animal training principles. She loves simplifying the science behind animal behaviour and takes the same kind approach with her human learners as she does with the furry or feathered friends they live with. Hannah will be selling her book at Woofstock!

Woofstock Resident Vet

Dr Lennon Foo BVetMed GPCert(SAM) MRCVS

Lennon is a practising vet for 15 years. He founded Amity Vets whose core purpose is empowering you through education. He believes veterinary medicine should also embrace the unique beauty of the bond between you and your pet. He is also the author of “Is my vet for real?” and will be selling his book at Woofstock.

Lennon will talking on the main stage on Saturday 10.30am – 11.30am & Sunday 2.00pm – 2.45pm.

Prominent Canine First Aid Tutor

Rachel Bean RVN

Rachel is a well know Veterinary Nurse running ‘Vet on set’ welfare monitoring on TV. She has been in Veterinary Practice for over 25 years. Rachel also is one of the top Canine First Aid trainers worldwide. She is also a Veterinary Volunteer for Street Dogs in Asia.

Rachel will be talking on the main stage on Saturday 11.45am – 12.30pm & Sunday 11.00am – 11.45am.

Animal Communicator

Karen Corbett

Karen has always been able to talk to animals, detect heat/pain and feel their pain and passion. She uses this incredible gift to help pet owners including horse owners to bridge the communication gap and sort out any problems, worries or concerns they are yourself may have. This could be from a lizard wanting a shelf in their cage to a horse with an allergy to tree pollen. The Directors of Woofstock have experienced first hand how just incredible Karen’s gift is.

Karen will be speaking on the main stage on Saturday 2.45pm – 3.15pm & Sunday 3.30pm – 4.15pm

Bowen Therapist

Kara Burrows

Kara has been treating not only horses and dogs for over 20 years but also humans too. Bowen Therapy is a very gentle way to address a number of issues and it realigns the body’s systems without the need for hard tissue adjustments. Kara is also a Reiki therapist. The Directors of Woofstock have experienced first hand how incredible Kara and the Bowen Therapy is.

Kara will be speaking on the main stage on Saturday 3.15pm – 4.00pm & Sunday 3.00pm – 3.30pm
